Located a quarter mile off Route 36 in Jefferson County Pennsylvania, the Coolspring General Store provides a glimpse back to a time when “haste” was as fast as the horse ran!

In 1904 Coolspring General Store was a gathering place where folks shared stories around our potbellied stove.

Today our store serves as the post office, hardware store, grocery store and local department store. It is a tasteful blend of history and convention. Imagine oiled wooden floors showcasing modern ice cream coolers!

Coolspring General Store is a hundred-and-four year old general store that continues to meet the community's needs with a post office, hot and cold carry-out food, groceries, 2-cent candy in jars, and a little bit of everything.
